Pro Paws Mission To control of stray dogs population, nuisance of dog barking at night, citizens mistreating dogs, solve the problem of dog bites and aggressiveness: ~for the benefit of public health and to relieve the suffering of animals in need of care and attention and to stop cruelty to animals ~to promote humane behavior towards stray and unwanted animals by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for animals in need ~to educate the public in matters relating to animal welfare in general, and prevention of cruelty and suffering to animals ~to combat inhumane treatment and reduce the number of feral animal, through its stray control project ~to promote the adoption of feral animals ~to advocate legislation to ensure the humane treatment of animals Regarding Stray Dog Problem: killing is not the solution for reducing stray dog population or rabies, sterilisation is the solution - both for reducing stray dog population, and stray dog nuisance, clean public spaces are very necessary to reduce dog presence in any area, funds should be available via budget, companies giving, fundamental responsibility is of governmental bodies and not of animal welfare organisations, complaints of nuisance caused by stray dogs to be looked into and underlying reasons corrected, relevant bodies should be interested in tackling problems affecting humans, it is responsibility of municipalities to make it easy for citizens to know whom to contact, procedures, policies
